Second race of the season and second big success for the Polini Italian Cup. An explosive mixture of 13 exciting races full of “coupe de Theatre” and shudders. One day completely dedicated to the Polini colors. During this event it has been also possible to see Oscar Mistri’s performance, the Italian Paraglide team pilot who is also the Polini Motori Thor engine’s tester.

70 EVOLUTION SCOOTER OPEN

The results feature the unopposed duet of the official Polini riders; Matteo Tiraferri and Filippo Corsi. They were first and second in both the races. Perazzini was third, while Adriano Sisti was third in race 1 and 5th in Race 2, overtaken by Paolo Gabelli.

The first place was for Massimo Tedeschi after a hard fight against Mathias Beatrizzotti. Christian Mammi was third after an unlucky race.

70 EVOLUTION SCOOTER POLINI

Two beautiful races and full of turnarounds gave to Alessandro Fabbri the victory thanks to the points gained with the second place in Race 1 and the first place in Race 2. Third step of the podium for Carlo Guerrieri who slid during the sixth lap but he resisted in Race 2, overtaken by Fabbri only.

MAXIMUM ADRENALIN

The Italian maxi scooter Trophy never ceases to amaze. After two months of stop from the opening race that took place in Vallelunga in March 7th , the Maxi-scooter Italian Championship re-started in grand style at Castelletto di Branduzzo together with the Polini Italian Cup with races full of unexpected events and a big duels between Mendogho and Rapicavoli.

The beautiful run to the victory of the second race of the Italian Maxi scooter trophy was the match between Marvin Mendogho, riding the Nonno Sport team’s T-Max of Rome, and Gianluca Rapicavoli. If the two riders was protagonists of the race in Vallelunga, the challenge in Castelletto was even more exciting.

Behind them Cesare Fusto, Lupin and Giovanni Gabrielli were protagonists of a nice competition. Fusto had the better of the others and won the Stock category too. Giovanni Gabrielli was not so lucky but he climbed back gaining the 5th position (third in the Superstock class). Lupin’s race was regular and always with a good rhythm, being 4th and second in the Stock class.

GIRLS CHARGING

The Pit bikes Trophies at Castelletto di Branduzzo saw for the first time a girl on the podium. The nice Sara Panizzolo was third after a very beautiful final Race 2. She managed to be on the third step of the podium after an extraordinary comeback. Laura Santina, the second girl in the race, was fourteenth and thirteenth. The winner of this Trophy was Guido Fulgoni who won both the races. Devis Catellani was second.

XP T 110/125 STREET

Nothing to do against Mattia Gollino: despite Jacopo Schirò and Alessio Corneti’s pursuit, Gollini gained the 50 points. On the podium Gollini, Schirò and Corneti.

GRC MINI GP 50

Strong challenge between the four riders: Simone Mazzola, Manuel Perseghin, Niki Truzzi and Alex Suvio. A part from the solitary race of Alex Mazzocchi, who raced as outsider and out of results, the challenge between the four riders exalted the spectators who assisted the race. Mazzola won Race 2 and went on the highest step of the podium, then Suvio, and third Truzzi.
